Fourth of July!!!

We had a great 4th yesterday! In the morning we went to the neighborhood parade. The kids got to decorate their bikes and then be in the parade. The fire truck came to lead the way followed by a Corvette with the swim team coaches. The kids all followed on bikes, scooters, etc. The boys loved it!!

Andrew and Will- ready to go!

Jack rode with his friends!
Hailey's ride!

And they're off!

Tim and Drew

How cool is the helmet!

Hailey's first 4th of July!

The kiddos in their flag gear!

Hailey is not happy about this anymore....

Finally a smile from all four!

We played around the house in the afternoon and then in the evening went to the Callahan's house and the guys set off some fireworks for the kiddos. The kids loved it and it was a great alternative to keeping them up too late to go and watch them somewhere.

The crew...

Andrew and his sparkler- they were not as good as we remembered as kids!

He is such trouble...just look at his face!

Today we are going to Longmont for a bbq with Matt and his family!

Look who's three!!!

It is hard to believe but our little Andrew turned three!!!! He has been counting down the days for awhile now. He was so excited! Tim heard him singing to himself in the morning "Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to Andrew, I'm so happy to be three!" Too funny!! We had a great day playing, swimming, eating dinner out, and enjoying cake! Tim was off which made the day perfect! The only sad part for Andrew was that turning three meant that he had to give up his binky! The first night was hard and he kept crying that he wanted to be two again! Last night was much better though! Here are some pics from the day!

Walkie-talkies!

The Diego Sky Glider that he has been eyeing for months!

New Fisher Price toy- kind of like tinker toys!

A cookie basket came from Gmom and Gpop just as we were opening presents-perfect timing!

His own lunch box to take to school next year!

Binoculars! Now he won't have to sneak his brothers!

A fun family swim at the pool!

Tim put the training wheels back on this- now it is his bike!

The cake....with Diego candle!

One blow....and he got them both!

The goofballs!

Busy summer days....

Summer is flying by around here. We are busy with swim team practice for Jack and swim lessons for Will and Andrew every morning. We have some play and quiet time each afternoon and then it is on to baseball and t-ball every evening. Between Jack and Will we have games or practices five days a week!! Swim team and baseball end the middle of July and then things should settle down a little.

Hailey is growing like a weed! She is five months old now and cute and sweet as can be. She is rolling from her back to her tummy constantly. Once on her tummy she lasts a minute or two and then yells for help to be flipped back over. This goes on over and over again! She also started playing in her exersaucer which she loves. We have to put a blanket in with her because she still doesn't have total upper body control! She started eating some rice cereal this week too. The boys think that it is so neat that she is eating and all want to help feed her! She is just a happy girl who smiles ALL the time, laughs a lot, babbles and squeals, and it so easy going!

We had a block party on our street last weekend. A fire truck and a police car came which the boys thought was great. They remembered the fire truck from last year but the police car was a complete hit. They let the kids into the car to play with the sirens, horns, and radios. All in all the kids had a great time eating and playing with their friends!
Hopefully the only time that we will see these two in the back of a police car!!!
Jack pushing the sirens and horns...it was reallllllllly loud!!

Aidan, Abby, Jack, and Colin waiting for their turn!
