The Marathon!

Tim ran his first marathon with his good friend Brady. The marathon was in Phoenix so we turned it into a fun couple's weekend away! Tim's parents were brave enough to come and watch the kids for the weekend. We had a wonderful time and the guys did incredible in the race. Brady's step-mom's cousin lives in Phoenix and he was kind enough to drive us around the morning of the race so we were able to see them about 4 times and then at the finish. Although they initially said one and done, there has been random talk of a second marathon. We'll see!!

At the hotel before the race.

As we dropped them off at the start. Still smiling....

Tim at the 20 mile mark...not smiling!

Brady was feeling pretty good at 20!

At the finish!!! Not quite as smily as before the race!

Caryn very relieved that it is over!! We were worried about them!

The whole gang...Chris (Brady's step mom), me, Tim, Brady, Caryn, & Wayne (Brady's dad)

The guys wore their medals around for the weekend. This is the day after the race with their new Mexican friend!

A visit from Gmom and Gpop!

Gmom and Gpop came out for New Year's! The kids had so much fun celebrating a second Christmas with them. We had a fun New Year's day party at Matt and Beth's house.

Happy New Year!

We celebrated the New Year with our good friends the Gentry's and the Callahan's. The kids all made it up past midnight!!! We had such a great time relaxing and enjoying time with great friends!

All the kiddos having dinner (the clock on the wall is not right- we didn't make them wait that long to eat!)

Hailey is already tired!

This is much closer to midnight...she has that dazed look!

The Holidays!

Okay so it has been awhile....I know, I know. We had a busy November and December here. Jack made his first Reconciliation in November which he was pretty excited about. He was nervous but did great! Here is a picture of all of the kiddos after that:

We had a quiet Thanksgiving here with just the six of us. Here is Jack keeping an eye on the turkey! Yum!!!

The boys' school won the Bronco wives food drive so they got a visit from Miles (the mascot) and two of the bronco players. The boys loved it! Since it was in the afternoon, I took Will back over so that he could be a part of the excitement!

Will giving one of the players a high five!

Miles the Mascot waiting for the kids to come into the gym!

That is Jack in the gray shirt high fiving Miles on his way into the gym!

We made our annual trip to Zoo Lights! The boys loved it and Hailey was okay for most of it!

Hailey is not so sure that she likes being out in the cold at night!

The boys by the mountain lion!

We also went to the Wildlife Experience for their Christmas lights. There were a lot of outside lights and then we went inside to write letters to Santa and watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on the IMAX. We went with our friends the Gentry's and we had such a great time!

The boys with a real reindeer!

Jack writing his letter to Santa!

We went to our friend Andrea's house for a Santa party again this year. Will walked right up to Santa without any hesitation! Jack took a minute and Andrew wouldn't talk at all! Hailey was not at all a fan of Santa....maybe next year!

Will and Santa chatting it up!

Jack is very serious!

All the kiddos..Hailey cracks me up!

After her traumatic Santa experience...look at the face she is giving me! Drama!

Andrew had his first preschool Christmas program. It was ridiculously cute! He was a little shy at first but by the last song there was a little singing!

Andrew and his friend Miles on the left!

Much happier after the "show" relaxing with Hailey!

Andrew's Christmas present for Mommy and Daddy! How cute is he!!

Christmas, as you can imagine with four kids, was crazy and fun. Legos and Star Wars were the big hits this year.

Hailey's first Christmas Eve!

All the kiddos getting ready for bed!

Andrew finally got his own lightsaber-with lights and sound!

Super Mario Bros for the Wii- this game is great and brings back such memories!

Hailey liked the horse until she got on it!

Star Wars Legos!

Andrew got a Star Wars legos too- he is in shock I think!
