Some firsts....

Okay so it has been a few weeks since I posted some pictures- it's been a little crazy around here! We are all doing great! Hailey seems to grow everyday and is such a sweet little girl! It is hard to believe that she will be a month old tomorrow! The boys are doing great too. They are busy with school, cub scouts, swim lessons, and soon soccer starts up again! They have all adjusted great to their new sister and just love her to pieces! Gmom and Gpop are coming tomorrow for a visit and to meet little Hailey. It should be a great weekend!

Jack and Andrew playing Mario Kart on the Wii! This was Andrew's first time trying- it didn't go so well but he didn't really know the difference!

Hailey's first bottle- Tim was so excited! He had waited a long time! Hailey did great and Tim gives her a bottle every other night now!

Hailey's first Valentine's Day and her first dress! Too cute!

First time meeting cousin Callie!

And cousin Matthew!

We love baby girl hats! They are just sooo cute!

Wide eyed and happy!

A picture from yesterday. We got this shirt as a gift and it is too cute! It says "You are my Sunshine! Precious little girl looking for handsome little boy to sing songs with. Must share love of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Call me." On the back it says "Call 123-CUTE.

Look how big I am getting!

Some new pictures!!!

Well Hailey is two weeks old today! I can hardly believe that she is two weeks already. Time sure flies...Hailey went to the dr today for her two week check up and is doing great. She weighed in at 8 lbs 8 oz so she is growing well! She is such a sweet, content baby. What a princess!! The boys are adjusting so well. Jack and Will can't get enough and just love her to pieces. Andrew had a rough few days to start but now absolutely loves his little sister. He wants to hold her (and have his picture taken each time!), tells us that she is beautiful, and he "pets" her hair! We keep telling him what a big boy he is and he tells us no"he's a big brother". Too cute! Tim went back to work today which was a bummer. It was fun to have him home and we all really missed him today. Here are some good pictures from the past week!

Hailey's flower that Daddy brought to the hospital for her!

Nana and her first grandaughter!

Jack doing a little light reading with Hailey!

Hailey all wrapped up in her towel after a sponge bath- she LOVES having her hair washed!

Proud big brother Andrew!

Hailey has Daddy wrapped around her finger!

So cute....

It is so exhausting being cute!

PopPop came out to meet Hailey!

Hi! (sorry I can't figure out how to turn this picture!)

Just so cute with my wild hair!

Another proud picture of big brother Andrew!

Look who's 7!!!!

Our first baby turned 7 today!! Hardly seems possible that Jack could be that old but he is. He had a great day at school. It was 70 outside today so it was beautiful out too! He wanted me to bring in chocolate chip cookies for his classmates which thanks to Nana was a success! Tim was off so he didn't have to wait too long to open his presents. He got some cool Legos, a watch, some books, a game, and a Wii game from Nana and PopPop. We went to Red Robin for dinner which was fun. Jack defintely did not want to be sung to like Will was so we were under strict orders not to tell anyone that it was his birthday! We came home and had some yummy ice cream cake. All in all it was a great day. Here are some pics from the day:

Hailey Anne Fete!!!

Our little girl is here!!! Hailey Anne arrived on Monday afternoon at 4:10 pm. It was a much longer labor than I had hoped for (who really hopes for a long labor though!) but in the end she was born healthy and I was healthy and that's all that matters. She weighed in at a hefty 8 lbs (bigger than everyone thought but I do make big babies!) and 20 1/2 inches long. She has a crazy head of hair that is so cute. Hopefully she will keep it so that I can buy some cute things for her hair!!

Welcome to the world Hailey Anne! What a head of hair!

Happy and content under the warmer!
All wrapped up!

We came home from the hospital on Wednesday and have been settling into a routine here. She had her first dr visit this morning and she weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz and everything looks great. She is a great eater which is nice. The first night home was pretty good but last night was a little hairy. She is just soooo sweet though!

The boys are doing great with her. Jack and Will just cannot get enough and want to hold her all the time. Andrew hasn't held her since day one at the hospital but for the most part is sweet towards her. He likes to make her music and throw her diapers away! He did announce today that he liked his baby sister Hailey so I guess that is a good sign. Tim has been off all week which has been a lifesaver. He has been playing Mr. Mom chauffeuring kids back and forth to school. I think he has a new appreciation for what I do everyday now! He may be off for a few days next week as well. My mom is coming tomorrow so that will be a great help as well. My dad is coming the following Saturday so we will be busy!

Here are some pictures from Hailey's first few days!
Will was the first brother to hold her...soooo proud!
Jack has been waiting a long time for this!
Andrew is not quite sure- this is the only time that he has held her so far!
Jack loves her hair!
The boys came back again the next day to visit! All four kiddos together for the first time!
Sleeping peacefully.....

At home....Tim loves this shirt!

Wide eyed and beautiful!

Hailey and Daddy....she already has him wrapped aroundher finger!

Sleeping with a sweet princess pose!

And finally one of me and my sweet little girl!

More to come soon.....xo

And we are off.....

So we are leaving for the hospital in about 4 hours or so....totally crazy. Can't believe that by this time tomorrow we should have our little girl. I am busy just getting everything in order and set for the boys tomorrow. They are just excited that Uncle Nate is coming tonight!

Anyway....I have had some requests for a recent picture of my very large tummy. So here it is taken by Jack himself about 5 minutes ago- not too bad for an almost 7 year old! Enjoy and have a few laughs at my expense- no worries.

I will update the blog with pictures as soon as I can and email everyone when she arrives!

The nursery is done!!!

Well, after a few weekends of hard work by Tim, the baby's room is finally done. What a transformation!! It definitely looks like a little girl's room now- complete with little dolls in her crib! We are down to one week or less and counting until we get to meet our little girl- we are so excited! Here are some pictures to enjoy!

Waiting....

I just realized that it has been awhile since my last post! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl! I am just about 38 weeks now so it could be anytime. The dr scheduled an induction for the 25th (although he may change that to the 26th after Monday's appt) if she hasn't come by then. The boys are so excited and ask about everyday when she will be born- if only I knew! I am still feeling good- just tired and somewhat uncomfortable. I am trying to enjoy the last few days of the pregnancy as much as I can. I am anxious and excited about meeting her and seeing what she looks like and how big she is (hopefully not too big)!

My friends threw a wonderful shower for me last Saturday. Even though this is our fourth, they were insistent since we are having a girl! It was nice to relax with everyone without kids and we got some wonderful things for the baby. I will post some pictures once I get them- sorry my camera battery died! I will try to include a picture of myself as that seems to be what everyone wants to see these days!

The nursery is just about finished as well. Tim spent many days painting and making everything just perfect. We just need to hang a few things up and I will post some pictures. It still is weird to walk by and see pink and green. It is so much brighter than the boys blue stuff!

We will send out an email once she has arrived. Hopefully Tim remembers his laptop, but if not they have computers outside the postpartum rooms so I can send an email and pictures fairly quickly after she is born! Keep watching.....
